We chose to make a T Shirt for Tricky Dicky as it seems very relevant for what’s going on in the world today.

This is a picture of Richard Nixon on the campaign trail in 1968. We love the fact the Nixon is standing in his trademark pose with his arms up, his hands out , and with his fingers signalling V for Victory. Definitely he is not making peace signs. His stance is in the perfect Y shape and we think that the supporter holding the sign next to him saying Rah for Dick is perfectly placed!

The colors in this picture reflect Nixon. The Dick + sign is in orange because orange is said to be Richard Nixon’s favorite color. The color orange is also associated to the chemical Agent Orange - infamously used by the U.S in Vietnam when Nixon was president, and known to have human health ramifications to this day. We put Nixon in pink cuffs. He used the term Pinko as a scare tactic when he was in politics to label his opponents and critics as Communists. Pink being a lesser shade of red for Communism.

Tricky Dick or Tricky Dicky are nicknames used to describe Richard Nixon . Tricky Dicky was a popular song by Country Joe Mcdonald. It’s worth a listen.
